So far these are some of the best winter studded snow tires I've ever driven on. I can't comment on tread wear yet, but these seem to grip in every situation. We had General Grabber Arctics before which I wish I had never bought, those were absolutely the worst winter tires, and that's not an exaggeration. These Nokians are worlds better, in a totally different class. We drive on a mix of paved town roads, highway and our town we live in is all dirt roads, so frozen layer of ice and snow in the winter. I have yet to feel this slip or slide on the dirt, and they don't skate like some studded tires can on pavement. If there is any downside to them though they are loud, there is twice as many studs in these as any of our previous tires and you do notice the noise. That's the only reason I marked comfort as a 4 and noise as a 3, they are loud. But to me that's totally acceptable considering these are supposed to keep you glued to garbage roads. I bought these because years ago we had Nokian Nordman 5s I think they were on a 2009 Ford Escape, those were great tires back then. I don't think you can beat Nokians as far as winter tires, there's just nothing else like them for real winter weather.

Noise was expected especially since they are studded.

Nokian Tyres are wonderful in general. The Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV are superb winter tires in every way. Simple Tire is a wonderful company and make things very easy.

Not much of a winter yet here in VT, but what little snow we have had, they seem to handle with ease.

Amazing traction on icy roads with a limited amount of snow. At least as good as my former chains without the hassle of changing in the cold. I will make these my new winter standard. Simple tire made the purchase and delivery easy.

The Nokian Hakkipelita 10s are superior ice and snow tires and have kept me safe throughout 4 winter storms this season. I live on the top of a mountain with steep grades and narrow switchbacks and these tires are my insurance policy. The grip, handling and stopping distance on winter surfaces is superb. This is my 3rd set of NH tires and they just keep getting better and better.

Simply the best snow tire available. I drove a Ford Mustang home from the dealer with these installed on quite possibly the snowiest day of the year, and the vehicle was drivable on all roads and able to maintain its position in traffic. While it was not fast up hills, it was able to make it places where an RWD performance vehicle had no business being in those conditions. I would absolutely recommend, despite the high price.
